HOTEL BEACH AMINESS LUME
The beach of the Hotel Aminess Lume is a man-made beach which offers great lounging and swimming possibliities. There are two locations to sunbathe and swim by the hotel, one located just below the hotel restaurant and bar and the other one only 2 minutes walk away towards the west wing of the hotel. There is a coffee and snack bar just above the bathing area, and you can also rent all sorts of sports equipment here (kayaks, stand up paddles, etc). This beach comes alive also at night with occasional live music events.
BEACH ŽAL
At the very end of the bay of Brna where the sea turns shallow and calm you will find the beach Zal. It si located right next to the kids playground, and is popular among families due to its shallow waters and the pine trees which offer some welcome shade on hot summer days. The beach is very close to various restaurants and the local supermarket.
BEACH ISTRUGA
About 10 minutes walking distance form the Brna village center you will find the Bay of Istruga. This naturly wide bay is famous for its medicinal mud. This shallow and long bay offers some great swimming. At the opposite end of the bay you will find two tennis courts, which can be booked for use. If you continue walking alongside the path on the right hand side of the bay, the road will lead you to the Bay of Pinčena.
BEACH PINČENA
This secret gem of Brna can be reached by a narrow trail alongside the bay of Istruga. It will take you some 5 minutes walking distance to reach this natural pebble-stone beach hidden among the pine trees. This beach hides some underwater river wells nearby, so do not be surprised if all of a sudden the sea temperature changes from warm to cold and back.
Just a short driving distance from Brna in neigbouring villages you will find amazing beaches to explore. Here is short selection of some of them.
PRIŽBA BEACH
To the west of Brna following the coastal road, in about 10 minutes driving time you will reach the village of Prizba with its long, sandy beach. The shallow waters of this bay are ideal for small kids and practicing watersports (you can rent stand up paddle boards or kayaks on the beach). There are also a couple of beach bars close by.
ŽITNA BEACH, ZAVALATICA
Hidden to the north of the bay of Zavalatica, you will find a secluded bay of Zitna. This small, hidden bay with its turqoise waters and sandy beach is a a popular day trip for many. The bay can be reached by car or by boat.
PUPNATSKA LUKA BEACH
This wide and long beach is located on the south side of the island, below the village of Pupnat. It offers great swimming and sunbathing, and various restaurants and bars right on the beach.
